Upward Bound is a college preparatory program that provides eligible high school students rigorous academic support and guidance toward a post-secondary education. In order to increase the rates at which participants enroll in and graduate from institutions of post secondary education, our Upward Bound projects provide instruction in math, laboratory science, composition, literature, and foreign language in addition to the above services. Participants learn year round through afterschool study halls, Saturday academies and a six-week summer program, gaining a solid educational foundation that prepares our Upward Bound scholars for college level studies.
