Syllabus Statement for Online Instruction
The Department of Supportive Programs and Services (DSPS) facilitates academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities at Hartnell College. If you have, or suspect you may have, a disability that impacts your education, please contact DSPS for a determination for your eligibility for accommodations. DSPS can be reached at (831) 755-6760, or via email at dsps@hartnell.edu. Accommodations for a semester begin when the accommodation letter is received by the instructor. Many accommodations are provided within Canvas, including extended time on tests/quizzes, in the delivery of online classes. Students are encouraged to plan ahead.
Students with disabilities, who have an Accommodation Letter for the current semester and are eligible for testing accommodations who choose to take exams and quizzes in DSPS, are able to when DSPS and the district are open. Eligible students should complete the DSPS Testing forms as early as possible in the semester, to reserve a testing time and space in DSPS.
