On December 10, 2024 Hartnell College held the Advanced Automotive Technology Graduate Toolbox Luncheon to celebrate the achievements of graduates from the Advanced Automotive Technology program from the 2020-2022 cohorts. The event featured donations of

toolboxes to each student made possible by the Don Crawford Memorial Fund at the Hartnell College Foundation. Key donors Mike Antle, Kathy Antle, and Karen Antle Hebl were in attendance to congratulate and give our graduates heartwarming messages. Mike Antle also shared stories about his, Kathy's and Karen's grandfather, Don Crawford, in whose memory the fund was established.

Guy Hanna, the Dean of Agriculture, Business, and Industry shared his thoughts saying, "It was amazing to be associated with an event that empowers students and helps industry simultaneously. It is one of the reasons I love working here so much!"

The Advanced Automotive Technology program was started by the Hartnell College Foundation in 2019, when the first toolbox was awarded to students. This year, 17 graduates were awarded a toolbox, empowering them as they prepare to enter the workforce. Owning a large toolbox used for auto technology greatly enhances the employability of our graduates.
